Made his stage debut as a child debut and his London debut in 1916 at the Middlesex Theatre. Popular music hall entertainer best known for his song I Belong To Glasgow. Appeared in a number of Royal Variety Performances. Made his film debut in Elstree Calling (1930). Died form injuries after an accidental fall from a hotel window.
