One of the founding members of the Rolling Stones. Sex symbol and fashion icon. Played over 15 instruments in the band including piano, clarinet and the guitar. Frequent user of LSD, cocaine and cannabis, led to hostilities him and Mick Jagger and Keith Richards after his no-shows at gigs and increasingly erratic behaviour. Arrested for drug taking. Found dead in the swimming pool at his farm home in East Sussex.
