Nearest train station - Castle Cary 10 minutes by car.The proprietors, Jason Goy and Darren carter, are implementing a gradual restoration of the interior of the building, creating a natural blend of Georgian architecture with cotemporary art providing truly stylish yet charming surroundings where everyone is made welcome. Open for morning coffee as well as lunch and dinner, the menus make the most of seasonal local produce and are creative whilst ensuring there is something for every palate. Choose from lighter meals such as sea bass served on a bed of lemon and ginger couscous or more robust dishes like rack of English lamb with a Roquefort and nutmeg breadcrumb served with turnip mash and a rich red wine jus.
