This 5 star, award winning attractions will take you on a trip of the highs and lows of an industry that was once the backbone of Scotland. It tells the story of mining from before Jurassic times through to present day. Set inside the wonderfully restored Lady Victoria Colliery, visitors are able to see, hear and feel all the different elements that made up this dangerous and on occasions deadly working environment. Experience it all with guided or self-guided tours, interactives, exhibitions, recreated underground and coalface, the largest winding engine in Scotland and Mini Miners Soft Play Centre.
