It takes a special kind of passion to seek out the rare, beautiful and extraordinary, from the moment you step inside you will sense you have arrived at a very special place. The Castle Hotel combines country elegance with genuine warmth.

We can be found in the heart of Scotland's Castle and Whisky Country. This breathtaking region, where forgotten castles, whisky nosing, highland games, peat fires, and heather hills are just a glimpse of the magic which awaits you. Vast highlands boast breathtaking scenery, whilst majestic castles and world renowned distilleries simply invite you to explore.

The Hotel overlooks the Huntly Castle, a symbol of Scotland's complex past, once stronghold to the famous Gordon clan, the nearby town of Huntly still holds firmly onto its glorious history, and pipe bands marching through the town are a common sight in the Summer season.

The Meiklejohn family are simply passionate about Scotland, and hope the Castle Hotel will be a special part of your unforgettable experience many other guests have already shared with us.

We want our guests to feel our excitement and pride in being part of this spectacular country we call home. We can think of no other pursuit that could have afforded us the opportunity to meet so many truly wonderful people.
