Extensive servants' rooms shown as in 1874 when H G Wells' mother was housekeeper. Fine, restored garden in woodland and downland setting with stunning views. The garden is laid out in picturesque style with flowering shrubs and an underplanting of bulbs, perennials and herbaceous plants. .
