We are at 15 minute walk from Oakham railway station With over 3000 acres of water, this is the largest man made lake in Europe. Visitors come to enjoy walking and cycling along 25 miles of traffic-free paths around its shores and to participate in the water sports of sailing, windsurfing, canoeing or fly-fishing. The 450-acre nature reserve provides bird-hides and a bird watching centre.
