We are a couple from Argentina. We arrived at the Hotel because my daughter in law made a reservation for us using her credit card, but the proprietor didn't believe us. He said that he would have the credit card or the identity card of her. We had to paid for the three nights although Samantha had paid for the first one. Yes, it was a mistake of us but we accepted it without problems or protesting. The proprietor was unkind for the rest of our stay there (not even a GOOD MORNING). My daughter in law tried to make a suggestion through the email but he was unbelievable impolite, suggesting her to read better in her language (such as, your english sucks), and telling her to get a life (JUST for complaining about the treatment). Definitely a negative experience after and then. Additionally, the window didn't open well, the bathroom flooded, the lamps didn' t work, the door of the bathroom didn't close properly.

we arrived at the alexander hotel 1t 12.30pm. what a dissappointment, the please is really run down,being run by one lady who works on her own.we were given keys to our room, climbed seven flights of stairs, climbing over cleaning equipment,hoover etc.Ceiling falling through,no glass in window on landing,carpets threadbare."DONT GO." Breakfast basic.It is obvious that the owner works on internet base, as their is no reception, and if you ring you just get through to the answer machine.
