In aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Tata Steel Cardiff Bay 5 takes place on the May Day Bank Holiday Monday.

The 5-mile route takes you over the barrage that links Cardiff to Penarth - with fresh water on one side of you and salt water on the other; don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife in the water too.

Our 2k Fun Run is open to everyone regardless of age or ability; its purpose is to enable everyone to be part of a mass participation event with no pressure whatsoever to sprint, break any records or even run at all. So, if you want to race or walk backwards, you are most welcome (though we'd strongly recommend you start at the back if you do choose to walk the 2k in reverse!) - it's fun for all...

Cardiff Bay has been beautifully renovated in the last few years so get your family and friends together and head down to the Welsh capital - you could enter a team from your athletics club, school, work, gym, college etc. too.
