Born 1751. Died 1806 - English furniture designer and writer.

Known in his lifetime for his neoclassical designs influenced by Chippendale and Hepplewhite. Major work The Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer’s Drawing Book was published between 1791 and 1794. Ordained in 1800.
