Born 1914. Died 1997 - English poet and writer.



Educated locally. Subject of much of his writing are his travels and experience as a documentary film scriptwriter. A Rose for Winter (1955) describes his travels in Spain. The autobriographical Cider With Rosie (1959) describes his rural childhood.
