Born 1862. Died 1937 - Scottish writer.

Sister of Richard Burdon Haldane, 1st Viscount Haldane and John Scott Haldane. Became the first woman justice of the peace in Scotland in 1920. Published Life of Descrates (1905) and wrote commentaries on George Eliot and Mrs Gaskell.
